縄張 : 猫の第三次縄張り大戦
縄張 : Cat’s Third Territorial War.
ここは工業地帯から一歩抜けた小さな町
そんな小さな町のとある家の庭から家と家の裏
隙間にて今
野良猫達の縄張り争いの幕が開く……
ある日の明け方､まだ眠りから覚めない
静かで薄暗い町に響くゴロゴロとした猫の唸り声
続いてまた違う猫の低いゴロゴロとした唸り声
今年初めのロミオとジュリエット達の野良猫物語を思い出す……
朝も夜も一日中響いていた鳴き声
家のベランダに姿を表したジュリエット
見上げ唸り声をあげるロミオ
そこに割って入ったもう一匹の猫
そんな野良猫達のご近所物語はロミオとジュリエットの二匹並ぶ姿を見て幕を閉じた
それから時が経ちすっかり静かになった夜の町
しかし冬の空気が春の風と共に終わりを告げようとしている季節の変わり目
一匹の猫の唸り声と共に新たな物語の幕が開いた……
猫達の第三次縄張り大戦
仁義無き戦いの幕が開く……
2026年の始まり頃のように甘えた鳴き声はなく低い唸り声が響く
階段を下り実家の庭の方へ向かうと
慌てたように柵を超え逃げてゆくジュリエットの後ろ姿とその後を追い一緒に逃げてゆくロミオの後ろ姿
でもロミオは身体が重たいのか下手くそにバタバタと柵を越え逃げてゆく
そしてその二匹が逃げた後
堂々とのんびり歩き裏の方へ歩いていく黒猫の後ろ姿……
ロミオとジュリエットと共に
新たな黒猫の登場
ニ対一でも動じない人の姿にも動じない黒猫
自分は黒猫がご近所猫になって嬉しかったけど
この辺りの猫達はそんな黒猫､新人が縄張りに現れた事が許せないらしく
ここからまた昼夜を問わず猫達の睨み合い
唸り声が響く
黒猫は実家の周りをくるくる徘徊し自分の縄張りを主張している様子
そんな黒猫に戦いを挑んでいるのは……
ロミオだった……
黒猫が姿を隠し穏やかに過ごしていると
ロミオが現れ威嚇し
黒猫が見回りから隠れ家に戻ろうとすると
ロミオが自分の場所だと主張するように黒猫の隠れ家に居座り
それを見た黒猫がゴロゴロと威嚇する
そんな二匹の睨み合が続く日々
黒猫もロミオの様に身体が大きく立派な長い尻尾を持つ
ようやく
二匹の睨み合いの姿を目撃
それからは､近距離で睨み合い唸り声を度々見かけるようになる
今朝は唸り声の後場所を変えての戦いだと
塀の上をこちらへ度々視線を向けながら並んで歩く二匹の姿……
戦いは続く
もしかしたら仲良く並ぶ姿をそのうち見かけるようになるのか……
そんな気もします
黒猫の綺麗な瞳に吸い込まれそうになりながら
そんな猫達の姿を探し
姿を見ては写真を撮り小さな癒しをもらう人間
黒猫はいったいどこからやって来たのか
毎朝神社へ向かう途中の家の塀の上
見かけた黒猫に似ているような気がする
近所の人達はみなそんな猫達の唸り声が続き
嫌だなと思っているかも知れないけれど
自分は何だか嬉しく感じ姿を探してしまいます……
黒猫を見ると何だか良いことがある気がするから……
子供の頃見た十数匹が集まる裏庭での猫会議を
またいつか見れたら良いななんて思ってしまいます……
野良猫達は今日も闘いながら生きています……

The curtain opens on the battle for territory between the stray cats…
One day, at dawn, I still haven’t woken up from my sleep.
A cat’s rumbling growl echoes in the quiet, dimly lit town.
Followed by another cat’s low, rumbling growl.
Reminds me of the story of Romeo and Juliet’s stray cats from earlier this year…
The cry that echoed all day long, morning and night
Juliet appears on the balcony of the house
Romeo looks up and groans
Another cat cut in there
The neighborhood story of these stray cats ended when they saw Romeo and Juliet side by side.
After that, time passed and the town became completely quiet at night.
However, the season is changing, when the winter air is about to end with the spring breeze.
A new story begins with the growl of a cat…

The curtain opens on a battle without humanity…
There is no sweet cry like at the beginning of 2026, but a low growl.
I went down the stairs and headed towards my parents’ garden.
The back view of Juliet running away over the fence as if in a panic, and the back view of Romeo chasing after her and running away together.
But Romeo clumsily flops over the fence and runs away, probably because of his heavy body.
And after those two ran away

Appearance of a new black cat
A black cat that is unfazed by the sight of people who are unfazed by two-on-one situations.
I was happy that the black cat became my neighborhood cat.
The cats around here can’t stand a black cat like this, a newcomer appearing on their territory.
From here on, the cats stare at each other all day and night.
A roaring sound is heard
A black cat wanders around my parents’ house and seems to be claiming its territory.
Who is challenging such a black cat to a fight…
It was Romeo…
A black cat hides and spends its time peacefully.
Romeo appears and threatens
When the black cat tries to return to its hideout from patrol,
Romeo takes up residence in the black cat’s hideout, claiming it as his own.
The black cat saw this and started purring threateningly.
The days when these two stare at each other continue.
Black cats, like Romeo, have large bodies and long tails.
Finally
Witnessed two people glaring at each other
After that, I often saw people glaring at each other and growling at close range.
This morning, after the roar, the battle will change places.
The appearance of two animals walking side by side on the wall, often looking towards me…
the battle continues
Maybe we’ll soon see them lined up together…
I feel like that
Almost being sucked into the black cat’s beautiful eyes.
Look for those cats
People who take pictures and receive small comforts when they see them.
Where did the black cat come from?
On the wall of the house on the way to the shrine every morning
I feel like it resembles the black cat I saw.
All the people in the neighborhood kept hearing the cats growling.
You may think I don’t like it, but
I feel somehow happy and look for a figure…
I feel like something good will happen to me when I see a black cat…
When I was a child, I saw a cat meeting in the backyard with about a dozen cats.
I wish I could see it again someday…
Stray cats are still fighting their lives today…
